Next.js Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Next.js Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in building modern, scalable, and responsive web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js and React.js.

• Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable UI components.

• Implement responsive designs based on UI/UX requirements.

• Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.

• Work with server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), and API routes.

• Implement authentication and authorization.

• Optimize applications for performance, SEO, and scalability.

• Work with databases and backend services when required.

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.

• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.

• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and product teams.

• Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in React.js / Next.js development.

• Strong knowledge of Next.js and React.js.

• Good understanding of JavaScript / TypeScript.

• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.

• Experience with REST APIs and third-party API integrations.

• Good understanding of Git and version control.

• Experience with authentication solutions such as NextAuth/Auth.js, OAuth, or JWT.

• Understanding of Next.js App Router and Server/Client Components.

• Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or React Query/TanStack Query.

• Basic understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

• Understanding of web performance and SEO optimization.

• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Tailwind CSS.

• Experience with Prisma or other ORMs.

• Knowledge of Docker and CI/CD.

• Experience deploying applications on Vercel, AWS, or similar platforms.

• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Vitest, or Playwright.

• Familiarity with microservices and cloud-based architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

• Passion for learning and working with modern web technologies.
